I picked up a camera when I was 19, mostly just messing around and learning from my dad—who’s been a photographer for 30 years. Honestly, I didn’t think much of it at the time. But here we are, and now I can’t imagine doing anything else. It’s one of those passions that just kind of grabbed me and never let go.

The best part? I get to be there for people on some of the happiest days of their lives. And somehow, that’s my job. I’ve teared up during father-of-the-bride speeches, grinned like an idiot while couples say their vows, and danced (with my camera, of course) at more receptions than I can count. If you’re a bride, I’m basically your bonus bridesmaid—fixing your dress, making sure you look amazing, and catching every moment that actually feels like you.

I’m the kind of person who will absolutely tear up at a good speech, laugh way too hard at dad jokes, and probably end up on the dance floor at your reception (still shooting, don’t worry). I thrive in the chaos of a wedding day—pinning boutonnieres, fixing veils, rounding up the bridal party like a professional cat wrangler. My camera might be in my hands, but I’m all in for making sure you have the best time ever.

At the end of the day, I love people. I love real moments.

Alright, so here’s a little about me—because if I’m going to be spending your wedding day with you, capturing all the big (and small) moments, you should probably know what kind of person I am.

For starters, I’m ridiculously clumsy. If there’s something to trip over, I will find it. It keeps life interesting, I guess. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me completely lost in an Ilayaraja song, imagining myself as the lead in one of his movies. No shame—I fully commit to the daydream. I love animals (I’ve got two dogs, and one day, I will have a farm with cows).

Here’s something that might make you question everything: I hate coffee. I mean, I wish I liked it, but I just don’t get it. How are you all drinking this stuff every day? My partner has been trying to balance me out by getting me into reading books and watching classic movies, so we’ll see how that goes. But if we’re talking hobbies, basketball is more my thin.
