What We believe
East Coast Wedding Co. is a photo and film studio founded in 2024 by Vignesh Krishnan and Swetha Balaji.
In search of documenting weddings with a close eye and a deep respect for emotion — the kind that doesn’t perform for the camera.
We are two photographers who spent years developing a shared language, and eventually a shared studio. The belief that started it continues to guide us: your wedding deserves to be felt in the photographs, not just seen.
Why celebrate together?
A wedding holds more feeling than any single day should and it moves fast. The moments at the center of it all matter deeply, and so do the ones that quietly unfold around them. We stay with it from beginning to end, noticing what often gets lost in the day, the moments that do not take center stage but hold just as much meaning. We come prepared, work without disrupting, and leave you with photographs that bring the feeling back.

I grew up around photography. My father has been behind a camera for over thirty years, so it was always part of life. I picked one up at 16, out of curiosity, and it stayed.
What stands out most about weddings is everything that happens beneath the surface. The nerves, the tenderness, the kind of joy people try to hold together. Being close to it all feels natural, and the focus stays on what is real and honest.
Off the clock, it is Ilayaraja, two dogs, a slowly planned farm life, and still not quite understanding what everyone sees in coffee.

What dragged me into photography was wildlife! I just imagined myself being the guy midst of all the wilderness in action happening in the most beautiful and raw form.
I had multiple dreams disorder! Before Photography entered in my blood, I was just on the verge of emerging as one of the best surgeons in the world carrying out the most complex surgery possible.
And then giving the toughest competition to Steve Jobs & Bill Gates by becoming a Software & geek nerd.
Just Last benchers thing!
Reality struck hard & one fine day it was all Photography and haven’t turned back yet.
What made me to stick onto weddings is the raw love, cultural harmony & emotions. That keeps me going and fuels all the creative part of my brain.
Right, so what’s it having me to celebrate along with you on your special day?
I’m that one who will be capturing everything love, at the first place & right in front of you, prompting you with puns and jokes to bring that best smiles in you!
I think I make the most sarcastic jokes. if we get along I’m sure you’ll laugh lout loud for my sarcasm.
Okay what contradicts me with Shweta is the love for coffee. I reach the wedding venues at the earliest, specially any South Indian Weddings just for the coffee, that’s another thing that fuels the creative part of my brain.
I still fight with my wife for getting a Play station for myself. Until then you are free to invite me over for a game of NFS, FIFA, COD with chilled beer!
